Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) Heading To AT&T, Latest Leak Reveals

Rumors and leaks pertaining to the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) have been swirling online as the device's unveiling nears.


Close on the heels of news that the smartphone has received the FCC certification, as well as a purported case for the device being listed online on Amazon, comes the rumor that the Galaxy J7 (2017) will be making its way to U.S. carrier AT&T.


AT&T will not be the only U.S. carrier to be offering the handset as the Galaxy J7 (2017) will also be picked up by Verizon Wireless and U.S. Cellular. This news comes courtesy well-known leakster Evan Blass who goes by the Twitter handle @evleaks. .
"Add Verizon and U.S. Cellular to the list" he tells fans. This is not the final list as other carriers may get in on the action in the near future. However, till now, it is only AT&T, Verizon and U.S. Cellular who are prepared to launch this device in the country.
Galaxy J7 2017 Rumored Specs
Per our report on Jan. 15, the 2017 variant of Galaxy was spotted on GeekBench running on Android Nougat, which has increased the expectations of the users even more.


Judging by the rumors and leaks, the smartphone is expected to sport a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen. It may also be powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor and have 3 GB of RAM.
The smartphone could tout a 13-megapixel primary camera, as well as a 5-megapixel front camera. It may be preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat and house a 3000 mAh battery. It could also be equipped an on-board storage capacity of 16 GB.
Release
Currently, Samsung has not divulged any information of the release date of the 2017 variant of the Galaxy J7 - the successor of the Galaxy J7 2016. It is expected that the smartphone will make an appearance at the MWC 2017 in February, where Samsung is also expected to unveil the Galaxy S8 smartphone.
It is important to note that Blass has not yet divulged any information about T-Mobile or Sprint picking offering the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017). 
The pricing for the impending Samsung smartphone is not known. However, it is expected to be affordable and could release a few months after its MWC 2017 debut.
