Trump Trades His Android Smartphone For Encrypted Device, An iPhone Perhaps?

With power comes responsibility and U.S. President Donald Trump is taking on a huge on. As he gears up to take over the role of POTUS, Trump has had to trade in his Android smartphone for a new encrypted handset which is more secure.
According to reports, Trump has had to trade the handset owing to security concerns.
"He has traded in his Android phone for a secure, encrypted device approved by the Secret Service with a new number that few people possess," reported The New York Times.
The publication cites a close aide of President Trump and speculations are rife that he has handed in his Galaxy smartphone in favour of a more secured handset.
Trump is following in the footsteps of his predecessor Barack Obama who had to part with his BlackBerry smartphone in favour of a more secure handset that was customized to his requirements. What prompted this move was concerns pertaining to cyber intrusions, specifically state sponsored attacks.
Obama apparently deployed an iPhone for the purpose of receiving and sending emails to a handful of people, as well as reading news and surfing websites. He would, however, deploy a different phone to tweet.

Security Concerns

Any sort of security intrusion is a concerning and delicate situation especially when it comes to the U.S. President and the ever vigilant Secret Services would be more cautious and look to close any loopholes that may compromise security.
National security could also be in jeopardy due to any such intrusion. Therefore, it is imperative that the President is given all the required security for him to continue with his term and fulfil his responsibilities.

An iPhone 7 For Trump?

Even though not much information has been released about Trumps' new handset, rumors hint at the secured device being the iPhone 7, which has been customized to meet his needs.
Experts consider the iOS to be a much more secured platform, which provides encrypted data when compared to Android. Apple smartphones are reasonably tough to crack as was evidenced by the San Bernardino attacks, where the FBI had to enlist the help of third-party companies to get the iPhone' data.
Unlike his predecessor, the forty fifth American President does not email much but uses his smartphone to tweet. Trump is expected to continue this trend and update the Twitterati. He reportedly only makes phone calls late at night or early in the morning and is even known to leave voicemails.
It is unclear whether Trump will be carrying two phones, i.e. one for his personal use and the other for tweeting. With the recent Russia-led hacks, it is important that the security team provides him with a secured and encrypted device.

A leaked image pertaining to the Moto G5 Plus has listed most of the specifications of the impending smartphone. The latest leak confirms most of the rumored specs pertaining to the handset. (Photo : Motorola)
Motorola is all geared up for the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017). It is expected that the Lenovo-owned company will show off its Moto G5 Plus handset at the event.

As the alleged launch of the Moto G4 Plus' successor draws closer, new images pertaining to the supposed Moto G5 Plus have got leaked online running CPU-Z, the detection app.

The latest leak seems to be authentic also offers a peek into the handset's specs and features.

This is not the first time, the Moto G5 Plus has leaked online and fans have been greeted by its purported specs. Earlier in January, Tech Times reported that images of the Moto G5 Plus had been leaked online on OLX Rom

In Moto G5 Plus
The new photos of Moto G5 Plus which have surfaced online shows a CPU-Z on the device's screen. The specs have nearly been confirmed after running the information detection app CPU-Z on Moto G5 Plus.

For the unfamiliar, CPU-Z is a freeware system, profiling and monitoring app for Microsoft Windows and Android which can detect details such as the CPU, RAM, motherboard and other hardware related features of a modern PC. In case of a PC, the information is brought into only one window, while for Android devices it opens as a normal application.

Specs Of Moto G5 Plus
The latest leak suggests that the Moto G5 Plus (XT1685) will sport a 5.5-inch FHD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 403 dots per inch (dpi).
The device will be reportedly equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 processor along with Adreno 506 GPU. The chipset is expected to clock at 2.0 GHz.
The smartphone as revealed by the images will house 4 GB of RAM and will have internal storage capacity of up to 32 GB. However, onsumers will only be able to use up to 21 GB.

Earlier it was rumored that the handset will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. However, the new leak suggests that the Moto G5 Plus is going to sport a 12-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper.

Even if it is not listed by the app, the device is expected to house a 3,080 mAh battery and run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat software.
Price And Release
The impending MWC 2017 may witness the unveiling of Moto G5 plus alongside other handsets from the company.
The factory unlocked Moto G4 Plus was available on Amazon even before it was officially launched in the U.S. It remains to be seen whether or not it's successor follows the same pattern.
There is no official confirmation regarding the price of the handset, however, it is expected to bear a price tag of $300

Nokia Tablet With 18.4-inch Screen Spotted, MWC Debut On The Cards?

Nokia Tablet With 18.4-inch Screen Spotted, MWC Debut On The Cards?

The last week of February shall get more interesting for the Nokia fans. A new Nokiatablet has apparently been spotted on GFXBench, which suggests that consumers could see HMD Global unveil the device on Feb. 26 at the MWC 2017.

According to the benchmark listing, the mysterious tablet does not have any specific name. However, the Android-powered tablet is believed to be a new device from Nokia.

The GFXBench listing, as shared by NokiaPowerUser, reveals the specs and features of the impending tablet, offering a peek into the device.

Rumored Specs

The listing reveals that the tablet will sport a colossal18.4-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2569 x 1440 pixels. The massive screen size could possibly be the major selling point of this new tablet.
The upcoming Nokia tablet may house the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor unlike its Nokia 6 smartphone, which has the older Snapdragon 430. The processor is expected to clock at 2.2 Ghz.

This new chipset is expected to power several new smartphones such as the LG G6 and the Galaxy S8. Fans would be hoping that future Nokia-branded devices will also house the Snapdragon 835 processor.

The mysterious tablet on the benchmarking site points to 64 GB of on-board storage for the device. Whether the tablet will have the option of expanding its memory further via a microSD card is not known. The device is expected to have 4 GB of RAM.
The leaked tablet may offer a 12-megapixel primary camera that supports HD video recording but no LED flash. Surprisingly, the leaks point to the tablet offering a 12-megapixel front-facing camera, which may find favor with selfie lovers. The supposed Nokia-branded tablet will come pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat (FIH edition).
The listing does not reveal the battery of the tablet. However, consumers can look forward to the tablet offering several connectivity options like a barometer, Bluetooth, NFC, light sensor, gyroscope, pedometer, Wi-Fi and more.

Release

HMD Global or Nokia have not confirmed any details on the purported tablet. Finland-based Nokia has made a successful comeback by launching its Android smartphone, Nokia 6 which is now available only in China.
Ever since its comeback, the company is working on bringing a new set of global devices that would be the perfect blend of functionality and design.
The iconic Nokia brand will probably be introducing some of its new creations at the MWC 2017. Whether the mysterious tablet will also make an appearance at the company's Feb. 26 event remains to be seen.

Huawei P10 Leaks Again Before MWC Unveiling, Showing off A Sleek Dual-Edge Curved Display

Huawei P10 Leaks Again Before MWC Unveiling,

The high-end Huawei P10 is expected to hit the scene soon at the Mobile World Congress 2017 and a new leak now boosts the hype.
Huawei is rapidly rising and the U.S. release of the Huawei Mate 9, the first Alexa-enabled smartphone, put the company even more on the map. The Huawei P10 is expected to rock even more impressive specs and features, as well as Amazon Alexa integration and a sleek design.

Huawei P10 Design
Back in November, a leaked image showed an elegant smartphone with a dual-edge curved display, and the latest leak now bolsters such claims. The design language is very similar to that of the Huawei Mate 9, considering the physical home button right below the display and the curved screen edges.
The new leak also shows the company's brand logo at the top, above the display, while the volume rocker and the power / lock button are located on the right side of the handset.
While the previous leak from November showed both the front and back of the purported smartphone, the new one only features the front side. However, two other newly leaked images allegedly show the internal layout of the Huawei P10, confirming that the smartphone will have a physical home button, a dual rear camera setup and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Huawei P10 Rumored Specs
The Huawei P9, P9 Plus and Mate 9 also have dual rear cameras, so it's not surprising that the Huawei P10 will follow in their footsteps.

Based on previous leaks and rumors, the Huawei P10 is expected to pack a 64-bit octa-core Kirin 960 processor with 6 GB of RAM, and sport a high-resolution QHD display (2,560 x 1,440 pixels). The Kirin 960 is Huawei's flagship processor and it also fuels the Mate 9, delivering plenty of oomph.
On the software side of things, the Huawei P10 should run Android Nougat straight out of the box, with Huawei's own Emotion UI (EMUI) 5.0 skin on top. Support for Google's DayDream virtual reality platform is reportedly in the mix as well.

Huawei already sent out invitations to its MWC 2017 event, where both the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus should make their official debut. Both handsets should rock Alexa integration and should hit the market sometime in March or April.
With a powerful processor, 6 GB of RAM, dual-edge curved QHD display, dual rear cameras, Android Nougat and Alexa integration, the Huawei P10 is shaping up as quite a compelling powerhouse.
It remains to be seen just how much the Huawei P10 will cost when it hits the market, but the Mate 9 is priced at $600 – lower than the price of other flagship smartphones with comparable specs. The Huawei P10 should follow a similar pricing strategy, aiming for a good balance of power and affordability.
The specs are still in the rumor state at this point, but MWC is just around the corner and we'll get the official scoop straight from Huawei soon enough. In the meantime, it's highly advised to take all leaks, rumors and speculation with a grain of salt.
